This year the Midwest Association of Filipino Americans will hold their annual conference at Indiana University. With over half a thousand participants from more than 15 schools, the conference focuses on the education, enlightenment, and empowerment of its attendees by addressing issues of self-identity and cultural awareness. The weekend will consist of a variety of illuminating workshops which delegates will be able to attend, as well as a keynote address. To celebrate the more creative side of MAFA participants, a variety show will also be held to showcase fresh talent, and promote school spirit. So come ready and willing to meet awesome people, make awesome memories, and learn awesome things about yourself and others.

This year we are focusing on unity. Everyone has a story to tell, an experience to share, but through those stories we can find out that we are all connected. Be it through family values, personal experiences, or professional choices, we all can come together and find a common ground. MAFA 2010, let your journey begin!
